Macworld 2008
If Apple was smart, the IPhone will come with GPS. GPS opens up so many possibilities in terms of software and subsequently usability. Just imagine walking down the street and keeping updated on the whereabouts of your loved ones. If you see them going near a grocery store you can text them and ask them to pick up some milk. You can set alerts to let you know when you're in the area of one of your contacts. You can be alerted when your passing by a store that's selling something that you found on the internet the day earlier. You can place an order to Starbucks and have the order beamed over as you're approaching the store so when you're there it'd be ready for you to just pick up. I feel there's so much to gain in incorporating GPS technology into an IPhone that it'd be a missed opportunity by Apple if they weren't to cram it in this time around or sometime soon. Hopefully we'll see this and 3G introduced at Macworld 2008 in a few days. If that's the case with maybe a hard drive bump or a SD slot and longer battery life then i'll definitely be rocking one of these in a few weeks.
